April showers bring May flower, right? But it also brings some sun peaking through as well as Easter and spring cheer, so I’m ready to embrace this month. I’ve again added some super inexpensive pieces to my wardrobe this month that make me smile every time I wear them because I’m excited spring is here and ready for all the fun park days, spring break and brunches ahead of me now that the weather is starting to cooperate. If you missed last month’s post, check it out here for 5 pieces that are under $25 and make sure you’re debit card it within an arm’s reach!

Rain boots!

You need your rain boots this month more than any other time of year and so do your littles! So this month I’m sharing my love for mommy and me Hunter boots. You can choose whichever color suits you and your kiddos, but there’s just something extra special about this sparkly pink that makes me want to twin with Blake hardcore. My favorites are the First Classic for your toddler and the Classic Short for mama! You can thank me later. > SHOP NOW

2. The best denim

After having Blake, I searched high and low for a pair of fantastic jeans that I really felt good in. Both my husband and I have always loved American Eagle Outfitters denim and I happened to walk by after Barre class one day and all denim was super on sale – so I wandered inside and tried on about 10 pairs until I found the golden ones. My favorite are the super, super stretchy jeggings and I bought both a dark and light pair and have basically worn them every single day since. Ah…pure bliss! > SHOP NOW

3. A great spring blouse

This Rosegal Embroidered Flare Sleeve Blouse popped up in my newsfeed recently and my fingers pretty much itched until I made the purchase. It’s flirty, feminine and I wanted to add a pretty blouse to my wardrobe for spring and knew this was it. Yes, there is a big part of my that want to dive into the off the shoulder trend, but with a baby that grabs everything, I wouldn’t want to run the risk of exposing myself in public. I will say that it arrived and is a little bit shorter than I expected, but either way its gorgeous and screams everything that spring is! And..psssstt…it’s only $25! > SHOP NOW

4. Fun earrings

Even if I’m wearing jeans and a graphic tee (ahem, see below), a bright, dangly pair of earrings will make any look pop (and of course, adding my favorite Smashbox lipstick helps, too!). These Tassel Drop Earrings from BaubleBar are the best and come in many colors, but as you can see, I’ve got a special think for the color pink. >SHOP NOW

5. Another graphic tee (because they’re so cozy!)

And you know how much I love a great graphic tee – they are just the best. I mean, this Gap Coffee Tee is advertised as a pj tee, but I would wear it out of the house and because it’s meant to wear to sleep it’s probably extra soft. You simply can’t go wrong and you know that you totally rule the world when you have your daily cup pulsing through your veins! >SHOP NOW

Fashionably Yours,

Allison
