How To Choose The Perfect Holiday Dress For Your Little Girl

This post is sponsored by Carter’s; however, all thoughts and opinions expressed are my own. If you haven't noticed by now, I LOVE dressing my kiddos. It's so much fun to pick out pieces of clothing that I know they will love and love to wear, but also sticking within a budget, of course. I get asked all the time where we shop and I can honestly say that time after time, year after year, we turn to Carters (ahem: rewards!) for great quality clothes where we can always get a lot of bang for our buck. I love working with them to share their holiday shop with you all, but I thought this year I would actually share my tips for choosing the perfect holiday dress for you little girl. Last year, we chose something gold and sparkly for her first Christmas and this year we went the classic route with this charming Plaid Dress Set.  (And this year we're also introducing pig tails so it's extra cute!) I swear that if it's possible, their holiday shop  makes me more excited every single year and I always make sure to snag matching jimmies for Blake and Branden from their epic PJ Shop! Before sharing my tips, I want to make sure you're all aware of all the great things Carter's has happening this holiday season. First, if you're searching for a store near you, check out their store locator here.   Year after year, Carter's offers a PJ Program (check it out here), that helps donate jammies to kids in need. There are millions of children who don't have a bed to call their ... Read More

Mini Melissa Rain Boots For Your Little

This post contains affiliate links.  To say that we're obsessed with these sweet little Mini Melissa rain boots is an understatement. In fact, I've had days after we first got them where I may have even prayed a little bit for rain - just so we could take them out for a spin and jump in some puddles together. They are just the absolute cutest and Blake loves toddling around in them these days. // Mini Melissa Rain Boots c/o // If you have a wiggly toddler, you know how difficult it can be to get shoes to go on and stay on, so the fact that these boots sit lower on her ankle and have a button side closure, makes that whole struggle a wee bit easier. If you follow me on Instagram, I've opened up or unloaded a lot lately about my daily toddler struggles - which is real, my friends. She's cute, but oh so busy and I've found that the middle of our days are the hardest while she's trying to fight a second nap and is into absolutely everything she can get her hands on. So we come to the park, and it's been helping get us back into a bit of a routine again and she's so much better behaved outside the apartment (which is odd, I know). These Mini Melissa Rain Boots do run a little bit on the bigger side, so while Blake typically wears a 4.5, we got these in a size 7. They're a little bit big, but she doesn't have trouble walking in them and I'm hoping they'll fit her until next year. Finger crossed. And you know what? Sometimes I just have to have ... Read More

Fall Has Arrived

This post is sponsored by Carter’s; however, all thoughts and opinions expressed are my own. I know that you guys hear it year after year, but fall is hands down my favorite. I'm all about pumpkin spice everything, pumpkin and apple picking, and of course - fall fashion for my whole crew. This year, it almost seemed like we all needed new everything all at once. Does that ever happen to you? Thanks goodness that our absolute favorite, Carter's is having an epic sale this weekend with a sweepstakes that includes $200,000 in prizes when you shop Saturday September 23rd! Between Blake's birthday gifts and shopping the past few weeks, I've put together her entire fall wardrobe. And where do I always start? Jammies of course! (And if you're wondering, she's singing that the mommies on the bus say "sh sh sh" in this picture lol) 2-Piece Snug Fit Cotton Halloween PJs I also mentioned on Facebook how Carter's is one of the only places that I can get the kids matching Christmas pajamas with their big age gap and they always sell out quick, so if you like to match around the holidays like me, I recommend getting them asap! In my opinion, there's pretty much nothing cuter than seeing your babes in matching jams. These are the ones I ordered the kids this year.  So here's how this amazing sweepstakes works: This Saturday (the 23rd - mark your calendar!), Carter’s will offer amazing deals for their Semi-Annual Big Baby Sale. On top of incredible savings, Carter’s will ... Read More

Defying Gender Stereotypes #MomStyleMonday

This post contains affiliate links.  I never thought that the words "defying gender stereotypes" would ever cross my lips, but here we are in 2017, with a little girl who I want to know every single day that she can do everything that her older brother can in this world. As far as we've come, women are still at a disadvantage when it comes to equal pay and the way we are under a microscope for everything that we do. I think that as parents of this upcoming generation, we hold a lot of the changing power in the palms of our hands and that a little bit of daily affirmations and encouragement can go along way - for both genders. These kids live in their tees year round and to be honest, I've done away with onesies for Blake for a while (anyone else hate snapping those a much as me?). I love pulling a cute tee over their heads and taking on whatever the day brings. These tees, that I strongly feel are helping us defy gender stereotypes are from our friends at Scout & Indiana where you can shop all kinds of cute products with awesome messages. You probably saw Branden's "bomb like mom tee" featured last week when I worked with Hefty and I couldn't help but feel it expressed the message of that campaign to the fullest extent: moms are strong, just like dads and it's totally okay for boys to want to grow up and be tough in life just like their mamas. You can shop Branden's tee here (c/o Scout & Indiana). This little one has been on the move since ... Read More

Something Magical #MomStyleMonday

This post contains affiliate links.  You know how sometimes you dress your little one and you feel like you popped it over their head and something magical just happened? Sometimes baby clothes just do that to you. And sometimes its that happy smile they give you whenever they know they're finished getting dressed. Either way, it kinda makes your heart grow a few sizes. That's how I felt when dressing Blake in these aden + anais pieces. c/o aden + anais flutter sleeve top // aden + anas bubble short You all have known my obsessions with aden + anais from my pregnancy days! If you don't remember, I not only rounded up all my newborn favorites (swaddles, nursing pillows and more), but I kept swaddle blankets that I had bought and stashed in my closet before I was even pregnant. I mean, talk about obsession. It's just that all these sweet pieces are so soft and pretty that they're really hard to keep your hands off. And to me, she's the perfect little baby model for all of them. And did I mention that she's almost fully walking? I really shocks me everyday when I see her walk from one piece of furniture to the next. At 10 months I feel like she's growing way too fast, but each milestone is a blessing and I can't wait to see what she does next. And if you're curious to see what our everyday is like, I share all the behind the scenes on our Instagram stories - so follow me! As you can see, I had a really hard time choosing which pictures to share ... Read More

This post contains affiliate links.  Happy Monday mamas! If you celebrate Easter, I hope that you all had a wonderful one. We were woken up early by both our babes, did our own little egg hunt and brunch in the city, followed by our regular Easter trip to Central Park. I even snuck a nap in when we got home, so it was a really glorious way to spend our holiday. I'm so excited to kick off this week with one of our favorites for babies, Softbaby.  And if you missed last week's mom style Monday, we chatted shoes for littles - so go enter to win a pair of Step & Stride's for your babe! We all want what's best for the sweet babies that we bring into this world, that's a no brainer. While this little one doesn't have an entire wardrobe that filled to the brim with organic baby clothes, we make sure that she has a few key pieces made from 100% organic cotton. These are what I like to call the workhorses of her wardrobe - the pieces that she lives in day to day, like our absolute favorite: The Softbaby Long Pineapple Romper.  Time and time again, this pineapple romper is that piece that just makes me smile whenever I pull it from her drawer and get her dressed for the day. I mean...pineapples just put a smile on your face.  // C/O Softbaby Pineapple Romper // This little smile just says it all! And I want to add that all their clothes are great for sensitive skin and easy to get on and off. All of their designs are so fun and great for both boys and ... Read More

The Cutest Kicks For Kids #MomStyleMonday {Giveaway}

This post contains affiliate links. You guys.....I *think* spring weather is finally here to stay! I've been craving long walks to the park without having to bundle everyone up and sandal weather to the fullest extent. This past weekend, we spent some fun time outdoors with friends in the burbs right outside the city (where Branden dreams to live lol) for a color run and park day. Branden spent the night with his friend and Chris and I thought we were coming home to a night of binge watching 13 Things and some drinks, then I came down with the flu. I'm still feeling super under the weather, but pushing forward as best as I can. So excited to share our favorite spring shoes for littles with you all today from Step & Stride.  Obviously every kiddo needs a great pair of sandals to start the season off right and I totally predict that these Step & Stride Fisherman Sandals are going to be "the pair" for little miss Blake. They are really easy to get on and off, go great with everything (leggings, shorts, skirts) and are great for running around in. Each pair of Step & Stride shoes promote comfort, wellness and fit - so their perfect for when little feet are growing, in between size and need something to give chubby baby feet support. As you can see, she had a ball going down the slides wearing her new favorite sandals for spring! // Step & Stride Fisherman Sandals // And of course, having a great pair of kicks are necessary every season and these ... Score Cool Mom Points With Cheerily #MomStyleMonday {Giveaway}

  Let's face it: after having kids, a huge part of shopping and getting dressed becomes all about them and as long as they look good in public, thats all that matters. Well one of the biggest trends lately for both mamas and littles are graphic tees and I'm all in on this one because not only are they cute, but comfy, cozy and great for layering, too. My favorite tees for littles come from Cheerily.  Why We Love Cheerily They have a huge selection of the softest tees (most going up to 2t), but today I'm sharing a couple of our Blake's favorites and giving you all a chance to win a couple for your little ones, too. (Ahem, keep scrolling.) Our little tiny dancer loves pairing her Cheerily Tiny Dancer Tee with her favorite striped tutu for some modern day ballerina style and it puts a smile on both her face and ours, too. And of course, with so many cuddles coming her way from every direction, she totally lives the hug life in her Cheerily Hug Life Tee. We can't get enough of these tees for littles and I can't recommend having as many on hand as possible. Not only are they fun to dress up with tutus and sparkly kicks, but I love just throwing them on her with a pair of leggings and she's ready to tackle whatever is on our agenda each day.  Having Cheerily tees in your kiddos drawers definitely scores you some cool mom points. The Giveaway I'm so excited to partner with Cheerily again for a fun giveaway! Enter below for a chance to win 2 tees ... Read More

Winter Is Coming

  I had to go there with the title of this post because it's way too fitting. With the weather going back and forth here between bone chilling days and sunny days that resemble what fall is supposed to be, we never know what to expect day to day here in the city. But winter is inevitably coming and sooner than we think, so cute snow boots for kids have been on my radar. This past spring, I was invited to a regular press viewing called "The Parenting Experience" that I attend on a yearly basis to see what's new for families from some of the most trusted brands, and was blown out of the park from everything that The Muck Boot Company had for baby to adult. I knew that these cute snow boots for kids needed to be in both Branden and Blake's closet and that you all would want to know what amazingness they have for your family, too. Launching for the holiday season, they have these super cool Transformer boots that Branden is wearing and My Little Pony for girls. They are super durable and will keep those little feet protected in style from any harsh weather that winter brings. This boy of ours is seriously too much. I look at this picture and just want to freeze time. It amazes me how much he has grown and changed over the last couple years and sometimes it makes me sad that we had to move from shopping in the toddler section to looking for things that this big kid will like to wear. But collections like this are the perfect combination of the two and ... Read More

Jingle All The Way

This post is sponsored by Everywhere Agency on behalf of OshKosh B’gosh; however, all thoughts and opinions expressed are my own. I feel like I should be typing "the holiday are upon us," but in reality - they are here. Everywhere you go decorations are being strung and stores are coated in blankets of gold, red and green. I always get excited about every part of the holiday season, but having two littles this year has been making everything even more exciting and enriching our traditions even further. You know how obsessed I am with clothes, but at the same time I'm not the mom who will dress her kids in stuff uncomfortable gear - I'm all about about super cute styles that my kids can play hard in from OshKosh B'gosh. But holiday clothes from Oshkosh are totally photographable, too! Growing up, I also had a par of Oshkosh overalls in my wardrobe at pretty much every age, so their denim has always been a big part of our life with Branden. So for little Blake, I went a little crazy over their updated tutu version with all the sparkly goodness that a little girl (or her mama) could want! On Branden: Skinny Jeans // Thermal Striped Henley // Thermal Striped Henley On Blake: Sparkle Tulle Jumper // Sparkle Star Print Bodysuit // Tights This brother and sister duo are seriously two peas in a pod and both of their faces light up whenever they see one another (I hope that never changes!). I' so looking forward to the memories that we will all make together, as a family of ... Read More
