To be honest with you all, (if I haven’t already said it before) the area I gained the most weight during my pregnancy was my butt and thighs. So, as I’ve really jumped in with a much more active fitness regimen, it now involves lots of exercises that help to get my booty in shape. I mean, who doesn’t want a toned booty? I think everyone does. And whether we want to admit it or not, those bathing suit months are upon us, so it’s time to get that booty in shape. For me? I’m getting things kicked off with Boudreaux’s Butt Paste and Exhale Spa.

First things first though, Boudreaux’s Butt Paste is celebrating the launch of their Maximum Strength Butt Paste jar (the lid even pops open with ease!), so having this awesome product handy is seriously what every mama needs. I’ve shared before how we’ve been fans of this brand for a while now – they are simply the best when dealing with every booty dilemma and comes highly recommended by tons of bloggers and doctors alike.

The workout to get this booty toned was nothing less than I would expect from Exhale Spa (a.k.a I was sore the next day!). Take a peak at some shots below:

There are so many different ways to get your butt in gear for bathing suit season, but mostly it’s important to make sure you get moving. Here are some of my favorite moves:

Pelvic Tilt: Lay on your back with you feet at shoulder distance and slowly raise your pelvis up and down – you will feel the burn almost immediately!

Squats: Don’t forget your Butt Paste for this one! Stand with your feet shoulder distance apart and lower and raise you butt, literally squatting back as far as you can. If the butt paste is too light, you can grab a weight instead.

Planks: Lay on your mat and push up until your body is laying flat link a plank of wood and hold. I love doing these in sets starting at 30 seconds and slowly raising the amount of time to feel an increased burn.

Side Planks: Same thing, but laying on your side. If you have wrist issues like me, lean on your elbow for support instead.

I promise mamas, you will feel that burn!

Fashionably Yours,

Allison
