Gift giving time is upon us – whether you are ready for it or not! I know that it can be hard not to feel anxious, as there are so many people to buy for and tons of details to think about. I just ordered our Christmas cards this week while they were on sale and have been doing little bits of shopping here and there so that I’m not completely bombarded as soon as December 1st comes around with a feeling of doom. So, without further rambling on and on about the holiday, here is our ultimate Kid’s Gift Guide for 2015!

1. For the creative child, Chalkola is the perfect gift! These markers and pens take kids’ artwork to a whole other level as they look like markers but write like chalk, and work on any non-porous surface while wiping off easily with a wet cloth. They are vibrant, bold, and – because they are liquid filled – give you more bang for your buck! As an added bonus, they are truly kid-safe and will keep your kids engaged for hours! Great for teachers, too! (Chalkola, $13, Amazon.com)

2. I think it’s always important to do one gift for kids that is a mixture of education and fun, and this Sick Science Fizz Pop Boom Science Kit is just that! They have a whole line of fun experiments, but I personally think this one is the coolest. (Sick Science Kit, $22, Amazon.com)

3. Branden saw this Candy Craft Chocolate Pen on a YouTube video and has been talking about it ever since! It’s not as messy as it sounds and is a great way to ease kids into the kitchen through creating some fun treats to enjoy. Mamas, this is the Easy Bake Oven of our kids generation! (Candy Craft Chocolate Pen, $25, Amazon.com)

4. Every little girl loves Frozen, but how fun to see her eyes light up when she opens this Kid Trax Frozen 6V Toddler Quad? It’s safe, easy to operate on their own, and perfect for indoor or outfit use. She will never let it go – I couldn’t resist. (Kid Trax Frozen Toddler Quad, $80, Amazon.com)

5. Skylanders makes my list for the 2nd year in a row! This time with the Skylanders SuperChargers Starter Pack – a completely different experience! What I love about this as a mom is how interactive it is with collecting all the characters. And even better, it gets the kids away from anything that is violent. It’s truly a fun experience for the whole family that will become a beloved part of your holiday memories. (Skylanders Suspercharger Starter Pack, $60, Amazon.com)

6. Talk about fun for your whole crew! Guitar Hero Live has been on my radar for a while now, and we finally tried it out. And, naturally, we are hooked, addicted, and obsessed! It’s great for chilly days when you are trapped indoors and can get the whole family up and out of their seats! (Guitar Hero Live, $150, Amazon.com)

7. The Barbie Fashionista Doll hooked me in the second I was first introduced to them at the Oprah’s Favorite Things event where I got a sneak peak of her coveted list. Each doll is under $10 and highlights every cultural background so that no little girl every grows up wondering if there is a Barbie that looks like her! (Barbie Fashionista, $10, Amazon.com)

8. This VTech Kidizoom Smartwatch is wonderful for kiddos, especially since they see us with all of our gadgets! It comes in pink or blue so it’s great for both boys and girls and is interactive and educational. Way to go again VTech! (Vtech Smartwatch, $55, Amazon.com)

9. I love when littles get their hands busy with some imaginative play. This Little Tikes Cook ‘n Store Kitchen Playset will keep them busy for hours – copying what Mommy and Daddy do in the kitchen. It also comes in a pink version for your little princess. (Little Tikes Kitchen, $164, Amazon.com)

10. You can’t have a gift guide this year without something Star Wars on it! And this Star Wars Disney Exclusive Talking Figure Stormtrooper is the “it” gift of them all! Just make sure Dad isn’t too protective and let’s the kids take it out of the box! (Star Wars Stormtrooper, $33, Amazon.com)
