I will preface with this – I wasn’t ever really someone you would consider a “sneaker girl.” In fact, I avoided them at all cost! They honestly always looked so weird to me paired with jeans and not athletic clothes, or if I wore them casually. I struggled to find the right balance wearing sneakers -until now.

This fall, women’s sneakers are making a comeback in a huge way – and I’m not talking about the athletic kinds, but the everyday, relaxed, casual sneakers that are now looking effortlessly cute being paired with denim and your favorite boyfriend cardigan – promise.

Beyond all of the cute silhouettes and patterns, there are some great collaborations going on in women’s sneakers this fall! My two favorites are Keds X Kate Spade New York and The Man Repellar X Superga – it doesn’t get more fashionable than that!

I will be the first to admit that women’s sneakers for fall weren’t really on my radar this season. I know, gasp! It wasn’t until a regular meeting with our editor where we were discussing our upcoming editorial calendar that she shared with me how hot they are becoming, so I needed to take a closer look. She was totally right, and I quickly became enamored with finding the perfect sneaker because these are perfect for looking cool while carting Branden to and from school everyday. So get excited ladies, here are our faves!

If you are an avid fashion blog reader, then you know all about The Man Repeller and her awesomeness! She looks at fashion in a seriously funny way, knowing that in many cases some of the biggest fashion trends are so off the wall that they repel the man you are actually after! The Superga Women’s The Man Repeller x Superga Satin Classic Sneakers are casual yet fancy, being made of different shades of satin!

I LOVE these Keds and think that everything about their Kate Spade collaboration is wonderful! I am totally crushing on two pairs from the collection, and I think that I could find a way to work these into more than just my weekend style! I love the Keds Kate Spade New York Rally Leather Metallic Nappa Gold for a little bit of glam and the Keds Kate Spade New York Champion Laceless Geo to spruce up my skinny jeans and favorite tees  as the pattern is beautiful and colors rich!

Toms

So I’ll admit that I haven’t yet purchased a pair of Toms (Though my friend Kristin Strange who blogs at My Strange Family had to purchase them as part of her son’s supply list for pre-school – seriously!), but how fun are these Toms Womens Paseo High Sneakers?! I would totally throw these on with some skinnies and go about my day!

Converse Ballet Sneakers

Converse is a go-to brand whenever it comes to cool women’s sneakers, but they have recently stepped it up a notch with ballet sneakers! These Converse Women’s Chuck Taylor Dainty Ballerina Sneakers are pretty much everything that I could ever dream of in a sneaker! They are the similar in shape to my favorite ballet flats, so I don’t have to worry too much about stepping out of my comfort zone!

I agree, Allison, about not really being into sneakers before now.

But once this trend started to emerge, the numbers of cute versions increased exponentially!.

I am absolutely loving my Coach high-tops with touches of shiny black leather that almost looks like patent, along with the signature Coach fabric, also in black. They have a splash of silver accents and Velcro ankle straps that transform these shoes into a hybrid between sneakers and boots! Very wearable with leggings! And amazingly priced at less than $100 at Macy’s!
