On September 4th, I headed to Lincoln Center for the launch of the Spring 2015 season of New York Fashion Week, and just like each year, I felt intense anticipation filling my entire body! The first show on my agenda was the Nicholas K presentation, which I was really excited to see. It was a 9am-er, so I got to Lincoln Center early and took a minute to bask in its beauty, always wishing that I spent more time there other then those treasured but fleeting moments each season during the shows.

The show was beautiful–as always! They featured a Moroccan inspiration, which was stimulated whenever the brother and sister team took a trip there recently. After the trip, they began researching people who explored the area and were drawn to Isabelle Eberhardt who was a female explorer who disguised herself as a man so that she could freely explore the terrain.

They highlighted earth tones for the spring 2015 season with fringe and hair embellishments. We saw a lot of khaki chino as a dominating factor–but don’t worry there was still a very feminine touch to each and every look sent down the runway. What I Wore

Whenever I am looking for effortlessly chic and cool clothing, I always turn to Zamrie. They hit the nail on the head with this Chevy Stripe Dress in Black–as it’s one of my go-to favorites. Not only did it look great, but was comfortable enough for me to run from show to show all day and still feel fresh!

What are you looking forward to most for spring fashion in 2015?
